Trump in 'excellent physical health', doctor says

Until now, Trump had released far less health information than Democratic rival Hillary Clinton, and Thursday's TV show and letter were an attempt to address that disparity.

Hillary Clinton used humor Friday to address her recent pneumonia diagnosis, telling an audience of black women in Washington that the upside was that it "finally got some Republicans interested in women's health".

The summary lists Trump at 6 feet 3 and 236 pounds, making him overweight for his body mass. He also takes a low-dose aspirin.

Bornstein later said he only took five minutes to write that clean bill of health, and a Trump auto was waiting outside while he penned the note. This study was reported within the range of normal.

Earlier today, Trump's campaign released results to the media at large, saying, pointedly, "We are pleased to disclose all of the test results, which show Mr. Trump is in excellent health and has the stamina to endure, uninterrupted, the rigors of a punishing and unprecedented presidential campaign".

Trump's latest medical record was made public, a day after the billionaire appeared on Dr Oz show.

He told U.S. television's Dr Oz that he would like to lose 15lbs and went on to say anyone running for president has an "obligation to be healthy" because the job requires it.

"A lot of times these rooms are really hot, like saunas and I guess that's a form of exercise". Even his proclamations of greatness to which any observer has become accustomed-he explained towards the top of the show that he must be healthy to draw 20,000-person crowds-were delivered with an air of bemusement that fit in with a hypothetical viewer's cup of afternoon coffee.

Clinton was diagnosed with pneumonia last week, but opted to ignore her doctor and continued to campaign over the weekend. Her illness became public after she left Sunday's 9/11 memorial service in NY early and was seen on video staggering while getting into a van.

In Bornstein's previous letter, he described Trump's laboratory test results as "astonishingly excellent" and concluded that Trump would be "the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency".

Cholesterol 169, HDL cholesterol 63, LDL cholesterol 94, triglycerides 61, PSA 0.15, blood pressure 116/70, blood sugar 99 and C Reactive Protein UQ 0.7.

"I think it's fine", Trump responded, but added, "I want her to get well, so that's fine".

Donald Trump says that when he looks at himself in the mirror he sees a man half his age. The one-page letter simply attested to Trump's general health. Until now Trump had released only four, gushing paragraphs on his health, written by his doctor Bornstein in December 2015.
