Pete Carroll and Seahawks fined for excessive contact in OTA

Plenty of penalties slowed down the game for the announced crowd of 91,046 on a searing day at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, where the Rams marked the long-awaited occasion by wearing blue-and-gold throwback uniforms for their regular-season home debut.

Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson completed 22-of-35 passes for 253 yards, including a precision 53 yarder to Tyler Lockett which got Seattle to the Rams' 35 yard line with 1:49 remaining. Of the 67 yards rushing, 45 came from Michael on the first two series of the second half. But Ogletree and linebacker Mark Barron closed in and hit the running back. "We were really excited about him, so when he comes back out, I wouldn't be surprised if you see a little bit of difference because he was that impacting all throughout camp and the preseason all the way up to that Wednesday in practice".
