Bortles, Jags try to turn it around against Colts in London

Bortles twice had opportunities to win games at home on the Jaguars' final drive of the game and failed, turning the ball over on downs against Green Bay in Week 1 and throwing an interception against Baltimore last week.

London again, huh? The Jaguars in London.

As for playing at Wembley, Smith is looking forward to taking on the Colts in front of the Jaguars fans in London. The Jaguars enter this game searching for answers after starting off 0-3, but this is still a talented team that poses a threat and brings three consecutive seasons of experience playing in London. On their charter flight across the pond, veterans and other key players got the comforts of first class, many others the relative discomfort of sleeping on three economy-class cushions.

General view of signage of Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles (5) and Indianapolis Colts linebacker Robert Mathis (98) with the world "Feel the Rush" on Olympic Way outside of Wembley Stadium. The Jets got a lot of attention for bringing their own toilet paper a year ago, but they and the league had done their research, and they wanted to make their players as comfortable as possible.

They've got no problem with him, either.

I have Russell Wilson, who, like Luck, has been really underwhelming this year. He moved outside to right tackle in the second half and played there for the rest of the afternoon. "To play this game at a high level I think you have to have confidence". While the Colts have been juggling corners, they've also had to patch together their offensive line, and they may have to use as many as four rookies along that line in London. If you're streaming tight ends, Allen is a pretty good choice this week, but if he doesn't get a touchdown, he won't be very effective. "This week, we're going there to play a game and that's our focus". With a healthy Andrew Luck under center this time around, the Colts aim for a different result.

HEALTHIER ON D: The Colts' defense has surrendered 95 points through three games, third worst in the National Football League, chiefly because of an injury-riddled secondary. They were asked to resist the temptation to take a nap after practice and to stay awake throughout the day to better adjust to a new time zone.

For the Colts, this is their first time dipping into the International Series.

The Colts have been less than sensational this season and are coming off their first victory of the year, rallying to beat the San Diego Chargers. Patrick Robinson, who suffered a concussion in the Colts' week 2 loss to the Denver Broncos, returned to full practice Wednesday and is expected to start opposite Davis. After a year removed from him missing nine games due to injuries it seems as though the Colts are still struggling to keep him on his feet. Principally filling his place is free agent signing Antonio Cromartie.

Indianapolis' 3,987-mile (6,416-kilometer) journey was a mere 7 hours and 50 minutes by air, a half-hour shorter than their "home" counterparts. Only Odell Beckham Jr. of the New York Giants, Pittsburgh's Antonio Brown and Buffalo's Sammy Watkins had more receptions of at least 40 yards past year than Robinson, who led the National Football League with 31 catches of at least 20 yards. And while Andrew Luck will put up his share of numbers, look for a late and costly turnover by the young quarterback to preserve Jacksonville's first win of 2016.

A somewhat startled Luck, still sweaty from practice, took the plate and offered an English "thanks", not a German "danke".

That's Pat McAfee on the wide receiver's socks.
