Pence: Russia is meddling in U.S. election
US REPUBLICAN vice presidential candidate Mike Pence says evidence implicates Russian Federation in recent email hacks tied to the US election, contradicting his running mate, Donald Trump, who cast doubt on Russia's involvement.
In a head-to-head with Trump, Clinton leads by 20 points among women - while Trump is ahead by just 3 points with men.
There are states with some measure of Democratic control over the process.
"It's one big ugly lie, it's one big fix", Trump said at a Friday rally in North Carolina, adding later: "And the only thing I say is hopefully, hopefully, our patriotic movement will overcome this bad deception".
"Media rigging election!" he added. Tweeting the election is absolutely being rig bid the dishonest and distorted media pushed crooked Hillary. He reiterated similar claims at a later rally in Bangor, Maine.
The poll showed that enthusiasm for Trump among his supporters has decreased, while the percentage of Clinton supporters who said they could change their minds has dropped.
"He's making weird claims that, no, I couldn't have assaulted this person, she's not attractive enough to assault".
Trump's campaign said on Saturday it had raised a total of $100 million in September, mostly from small donors but also including a $2 million monthly contribution from Trump.
Who knows whether Pence truly believes what he's saying these days in defense of Trump or whether he simply figures he's come this far on a campaign predisposed to all things volatile, why let a little public relations triage on the campaign stump get in the way now.
Some had another theory for Trump's accusations.
Nationally, the numbers reflect the swift decline of Trump in the wake of the leak of a 2005 video tape in which he made lewd comments about women and allegations of improper sexual behavior. Trump has said he's not a bully, he's a counterpuncher. Trump advisers privately say they hope to turn off young people in particular. She told the newspaper she leaned away, then turned her head, and he kissed the side of her mouth.
Heller acknowledged in the interview that she is a Clinton supporter and has donated to her campaign. Mr Trump has said the reports are lies and part of a media conspiracy to defeat him. "It would have been the talk of Palm Beach for the past two decades".
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell's office wouldn't say Saturday whether he agreed with Trump's assertions the election is being rigged.
"He is on track to totally and completely melting down", said Republican pollster Whit Ayres, who is advising Florida Sen.
Trump, in a long stream of tweets on Sunday, said repeatedly that U.S. media are rigging the election by hammering away at what he calls fabricated accounts of him making unwanted sexual advances on women.
He also refused to join Trump's call for Clinton to be drug tested before Wednesday's third and final presidential debate.
However, speaking on NBC's Meet The Press, Mr Pence said the American people were "tired of the obvious bias in the national media" which was "where the sense of a rigged election goes", but said: "We will absolutely accept the results of the election".
The latest results from the Reuters/Ipsos States of the Nation project also show Mrs Clinton with a substantial projected advantage in the race to win the Electoral College and claim the presidency.
