Trump rips Times, People magazine over sexual-assault claims

The Trump campaign has not said whether or not it has plans to call on People Magazine to retract Stoynoff's story, or whether it intends to sue the magazine.

"This entire article is fiction, and for the New York Times to launch a completely false, coordinated character assassination against Mr.Trump on a topic like this is risky", the Trump campaign's senior communications adviser Jason Miller said in a statement. In fact, Jessica Leeds, who claims that Trump sexually assaulted her on a flight to NY in the early 1980s, describes just the sort of grabbing Trump boasted to Bush.

Trump has said he regrets the remarks, which he describes as "locker room" banter.

Why didn't the writer of the twelve year old article in People Magazine mention the "incident" in her story. Others surveyed by BuzzFeed News said they didn't recall Trump doing that.

Trump's campaign said her allegation "lacks any merit or veracity".

"Cox spoke directly and emotionally about Crooks" powerlessness, the then 22-year-old's feeling that she had no recourse against a powerful man like Trump. "In the gloom and ugliness of this political season, one encouraging truth is often overlooked: There is a well-qualified, well-prepared candidate on the ballot. we endorse her without hesitation", it said.

The stories come from women across the country of various ages and backgrounds.

Building on Trump's decision to bring three Bill Clinton accusers to last week's presidential debate, the Republican nominee is expected to have the women appear with him on stage at rallies and do television interviews, according to a person briefed on the plan but not authorized to discuss it publicly.

In a story for People published late Wednesday night, Stoynoff alleged that Trump had physically attacked her at Mar-a-Lago while she was writing an article on his one-year wedding anniversary to his wife, Melania. Less than an hour into the trip, the current Republican presidential nominee reached out and started to grab her breasts and tried to put his hands up her skirt.

"I'm allowed to go in, because I'm the owner of the pageant and therefore I'm inspecting it", he told radio host Howard Stern, according to a transcript.

Stoynoff writes that when she returned to NY, she told a coworker what had happened. "I just want to forget it ever happened". She hadn't planned to go public with her experience until the video came out and Trump proclaimed his innocence at the debate.

Coming forward for the first time in the New York Times on Wednesday, Leeds remembered sitting down next to Trump on a trip to New York.

Three senior-level sources confirm to ABC News that Trump is drafting a lawsuit against the Times for defamation. He had a first-class ticket, and she'd been upgraded from coach.

Crooks said she was a receptionist for a real estate investment and development company located at Trump Tower and met Trump outside an elevator in the building one morning.

Leeds said she did not complain to the airline at the time because such unwanted advances were common for businesswomen in the 1970s and early 1980s, the newspaper reported.

The reports followed the emergence of the video from 2005 in which Trump bragged about groping women, kissing them without permission, and trying to seduce a married woman.

She introduced herself to the celebrity businessman, she said.

He proceeded to kiss her on her cheeks, she claims, adding he then "kissed me directly on the mouth".

After the show, as people were saying goodbye to Charles, McGillivray felt "a pretty good nudge, more of a grab" close to the center of her bottom, she told the newspaper.
