Could Rockstar Games Be Teasing A New Red Dead Game?

When the company is not busy making new entries in the popular "Grand Theft Auto" game series, it is trying to make up new ways to upgrade other games.

Rumors of a sequel to Red Dead Redemption have been circling for some time now, with a possible map for the unannounced title being "leaked" earlier this year via a user on NeoGAF. While this isn't explicitly a tease for a Red Dead Redemption sequel, Rockstar knows what the color red means when paired with their name. The color used in this image matches the color scheme seen in Red Dead Redemption, leading many to speculate that the next game in the series is now in development. The fact that there was never a gang consisting of 7 members in Red Dead Redemption could suggest that this isn't a remaster, and truly is a new game.

First things first, here is the new teaser image. The red theme had an undeniable presence in Red Dead Redemption, which can be seen in the box art and loading screen for the second title in the series.

That dappled red remind you of anything? Not only do the red and black themes feature prominently in the open-world RPG Western, but it also fits Rockstar's previous release patterns. A current gen return to the Wild West created by Rockstar is high on many a gamer's wishlist.

There's no doubt that Red Dead Redemption is one of the greatest games of our generation. All we can do is wait and see what occurs over the following days. It first revealed Grand Theft Auto 5 back in October 2011 and the game was released about two years later. YouTuber LegacyKillaHD also reported this on his channel for "Red Dead Redemption 2".

Take-Two's Fiscal Year 2017 games lineup has always been revealed, and the company isn't going to make any changes to it now.
