The incident happened this afternoon with a Sydney city bus crashing into the van on Park Street in the CBD.

Emergency services attend the scene on Park Street.

Saying one of the parties involved "escaped injury but two other men had to be taken to hospital", the report adds, "One of the men was airlifted to St Vincent's Hospital, the other was taken by road".

In a tweet, Iero reveals that he and his crew are "in stable condition".

No passengers were on board the bus at the time of the crash, but the driver has reportedly been taken to hospital for mandatory tests.

Frank has been touring with his band and played in Melbourne last night with Sydney being marked as their last stop for the tour in Australia.

As a result of the crash two men who were standing at the rear of the van were injured.
