National Football League trots out another lousy Thursday night game

New York Jets wide receiver Brandon Marshall suffered what appeared to be a knee injury in the second quarter against the Buffalo Bills on Thursday night, per Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News.

The last time these two teams met, the Jets were playoff contenders and their former head coach Rex Ryan, now guiding the Bills, was able to knock NY out of playoff contention. Neither team's offense is fantastic but the Jets is much better.

The Ravens bottled up McCoy, who had 58 yards on 16 carries, and scored on a 1-yard plunge on fourth down.

"Last year, Jets versus a Rex Ryan-led Bills team, I just didn't play as well as I wanted to in either game", he said.

Kicking off the Twitter live stream coverage will be the Week 2 showdown between two AFC East rivals, the New York Jets and the Buffalo Bills, who are both looking to register a first win of the season. "Thursday nights are exciting to play on because you have all of your peers watching you, and you just want to go out there and show everybody what kind of team we have". In their loss to the Baltimore Ravens, the Bills did not look good on offense.

The Bills lost their first game 13-7 to Baltimore of 13-7. QB Ryan Fitzpatrick had 20-33 record as Bills starter from 2009-12. The Bills got four sacks a year after failing to get more than two in one game.

Because 0-2 could turn into 0-4 or worse very quickly. Taylor finished 15-of-22 passing for 111 yards with 11 rushing yards and no touchdowns. Ah no, I was just kidding, Rich.

"It's not like I've never had a ball caught off me", Revis said.

Improvement on the offensive side of the ball for Buffalo is a must for Bills. He didn't do much in the first game other than beat Revis for a late first down that allowed the Bills to run out the clock.

This Thursday will bring about déjà vu in a must win game for the Jets. "We got knocked out of the playoffs, so that's definitely going to sting a little bit when you've got team goals and you're trying to accomplish them".

One thing that's certain is that the Bills need Watkins out there, but they need the one who's a legitimate playmaker.

"Right now, it's been a year away that I'm firmly - well, firmly, maybe some people don't think I'm firmly situated here - but I feel that I'm firmly grounded here and this is my new home and my new team in Buffalo", Ryan said via conference call.
