Apple's iOS 10 update is causing major headaches for some users

Stay tuned for more updates and use for iOS 10.

Several social media platforms including Facebook and Twitter were flooded with messages and reports about the update making devices unusable.

Apple has released a guide that explains how to restore your affected device.

The iOS 10 update brings a slew of new features that focus on users' security.

After the iOS 10 release today, some users complained that it rendered their phones unusable. But, the problem was quickly resolved and the tech company apologizes to those customers.

Apple advises anyone who was impacted by the glitch to connect to iTunes to complete the update or can contact AppleCare for additional support.

iOS 10, Apple's latest mobile operating system software for iPad and iPhone, is now available for download. Apple's own apps will be using this ability in iOS 10 but expect other developers to start supporting this feature soon enough. In a statement Apple mentioned, Whatever the issue might be, "Be sure to backup your iOS device" before going for an update. If you use applications such as Facebook Messenger or What's App, Apple's iMessage updates will feel familiar; stickers, for example, have been a part of Facebook Messenger for a while now.

With this setting enabled, you can simply rest your finger on the Home button to unlock your iPhone instead of needing to press it.

This means that you shouldn't upgrade to the latest if you are running iOS 9.3.3 and want to experience all the benefits of being jailbroken.

Wait for your device to enter into recovery mode, with it then prompting you to connect it to iTunes.

Apple has also shared instructions for those unlucky users, which should turn the slabs of metal and glass back into a working iPhone. Hopefully, the Pangu team will get that jailbreak for iOS 10 done, and some predict the first week in October. If you are one of those who are intrigued as to whether you are to update it immediately or not, then this article would be your guide.
