LeEco launches Le Pro 3 with Snapdragon 821, 6GB RAM

Like the previous generation LeEco flagships, the Le Pro 3 forgoes the 3.5mm headphone jack, and instead uses the single USB Type-C port on board.

The chinese smartphone maker, LeEco has reportedly launched Le Pro 3 smartphone in four new variants, in China. The First Sale of this smartphone will be starting from next week Via. On the front, the smartphone bears an 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture, and a 76.5-degree wide-angle lens. The company was anticipated to launch an 8GB of RAM variant of the LeEco Le Pro 3 on Wednesday, however, it hasn't done so.

As expected, the LeEco Le Pro 3 is made out of metal, and its battery is sealed in. It either offers a 32GB/64GB internal storage variant with 4GB RAM or a 64GB/128GB variant with a 6GB RAM. On the back, we can see the fingerprint sensor which also supports mobile payments in the future as it also comes NFC.

LeEco now supports a 3.5mm audio jack, but if the rumors are true, they will soon replace it with an USB type-C adapter for audio output. It also has a 6GB of RAM and will be coming with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box. The phone comes in two storage models. The 4 GB / 32 GB version of the LeEco Le Pro 3 will retail for as low as 1799 Yuan (Rs. 18,000 / $269 approx.) while the top end 6 GB / 64 GB model will cost 1999 Yuan (Rs. 20,000 / $299 approx.). The storage is not expandable via microSD card, while only one SIM card slot supports 4G connectivity at a time. The 4,070mAh battery comes included on the inside, and you also get Qualcomm's Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging tech here. The 4GB RAM + 64GB storage Zhang Yimou edition is priced at CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs. 25,100), and the 6GB RAM + 128GB inbuilt storage version has been priced at CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs. 30,100). 4 GB RAM variant is priced at CNY 2,499 and the 6 GB RAM variant is priced at CNY 2,999, although the main concern of ours is that there is no option to expand your storage in any smartphone. Added to the advantage is the Qualcomm's QuickCharge 3.0 support, thanks to OnePlus as other manufacturers are trying to compete their Dash charge technology.
