Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection officially revealed

It will also include the prequel live-action film Assassin's Creed Lineage and the sequel animated film Assassin's Creed Embers.

Since 2007, much like the Call of Duty series, Ubisoft has released a new Assassin's Creed game every year since then.

Assassins Creed The Ezio Collection is coming to Xbox One and PS4 according to Ubisoft. Starting with Assassin's Creed, that game was followed up with others like Assassin's Creed II, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, Assassin's Creed: Revelations and so on.

There are plenty of Assassin's Creed installments available within the franchise and now as more gamers are adopting the latest generation of consoles, there could be a few gamers who missed out on some of the previously released installments.

The Ezio Collection puts the single-player experiences of its three games front and center, focusing entirely on Ezio's journey. The three selected for this collection are Assassin's Creed 2, Assassins Creed: Brotherhood, and lastly Assassin's Creed: Revelations. All single player DLC will be included on the disc. The above trailer adds that copies in the United States will include a free movie ticket for Assassin's Creed this December, up to an $8 value.

"Having seen what's gone into this year's movie and into future Assassin's Creed games, we think fans and newcomers alike will be excited by everything Assassin's Creed has to offer", Allonier teased. Ubisoft wants us to remember what Assassin's Creed used to be like, which is why we're getting Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection.

With Ubisoft opting not to release a new entry in the franchise this year in order to give it a rest, Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection is the flawless fit for that gap.
