Missing Chibok girls' parents react to new Boko Haram video

Boko Haram, which opposes western education, wants to set up an Islamic caliphate in Nigeria.

That claim was reportedly shattered almost a month later, at the end of August, when the ISIS branch killed 10 people and abducted 13 others, including women and children, during a raid on a village near the town of Chibok in northeastern Nigeria's Borno state, where the African terrorist group kidnapped almost 276 schoolgirls in 2014.

Shekau warns the people of Chibok that "you have not seen the worst yet", and laughs maniacally. "Bring back our own brethren".

That terrorist organization has said it is supporting Shekau's rival, Abu Musab al-Barnawi, as the legitimate leader of the Nigerian ISIS-affiliated terrorist movement.

Humanitarian groups have continually called on the Nigerian government to turn its focus to the plights of persons displaced by the Boko Haram insurgency.

He explained that the troops killed 9 Boko Haram terrorists and wounded several others. The BBC report was what drew the attention of many people to the new clip, especially their emphases on the part where Shekau was referring to the Islamic movement in Nigeria and its leader Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky.

The exposed plot of the Nigerian government is initiated towards the use of some elements in launching series of attacks on various locations in the country, which would serve as a practical reaction of the Shekau's new message.

A reliable source confirmed the exposed plot which we view as a serious scenario and a nonsensical decision of a government claiming to be democratic.

"This is Shekau; I am fine and healthy", he said in the video, according to a Nigerian blog that translated the video.

"As their abilities kind of got diminished by their interactions or by their conflict with the government, they seem to turn into a more general terrorist organization", he explains.
