WWE Clash of Champions Review

This will not be an easy feat for TJ Perkins, who prepares for another WWE Cruiserweight Championship match against Brian Kendrick next week.

After Perkins won the Cruiserweight Classic, which also came with a sweet championship belt, it was a bit of a head-scratcher to see that he'd be defending his title nearly two weeks later.

A lot of things are expected for Raw though it seems unclear if a match between Rollins and Owens would be set. Ironically, both matches were every bit as good as their pay-per-view predecessors, with one in particular actually improving on Clash Of Champions. The medical staff had to call the match bearing no result. Before doing so, Foley invites both competitors to the ring. It is also safe to say that WWE has mishandled the booking in Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows.

After Sunday night's conclusion to Match 7 of the best-of-seven series between Sheamus and Cesaro, anyone with a semblance of common sense would have thought an eighth match between the two would be a fitting end to the feud. Sheamus hit a Brogue Kick at 11:25, but Cesaro kicked out. Apparently in storyline, it makes ideal sense just to put both Sheamus and Cesaro together as a tag team and give them a title opportunity at the Raw Tag Team Championship. Look no further than what they did with Cesaro and Sheamus. However, what happened after the match was pretty fantastic and reminiscent of 90s-era WWE. The Aussie superstar was teaming up with Dana Brooke prior to the injury. If Foley approves, we should get a championship match next week. He is a great combination of speed, agility, and strength, making him the self-proclaimed "Premier Athlete". Not only did Rollins hit a Pedigree that went unrecorded by an official, he was forced to fight off both Jericho & Owens before RAW Commissioner Stephanie McMahon sent out a replacement ref.

Near the 21-minute mark, Jericho came down to ringside and distracted Rollins, which led to Owens hitting a package piledriver for a near fall. Rollins of course chose to interrupt after threatening to do so earlier, but RAW security was waiting for him.

Raw General Manager Mick Foley is starting to wonder whether the Raw Commissioner is conspiring with Triple H and WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens. Then again, Enzo Amore and Big Cass are the two most over acts on the entire roster and they just keep getting beat and it just keeps not mattering.

Owens would finish the match off with a combo clothesline and powerbomb on Enzo, pinning the realest guy in the ring for the full three-count and ending RAW for the night.

The story arc will centre on Owens' lack of a clean win over Rollins and force him to take on his opponent in the Demonic Structure and provide his biggest test yet.
