He's with Buffalo now, yet Rex Ryan and Ravens remain tight

One team looks to repeat its Super Bowl success of recent years as it gets its star quarterback back, and the other team looks to take step forward in year two of a new regime.

Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy (25) is upended by Baltimore Ravens cornerback Lardarius Webb (21) during the second half of an NFL football game n Baltimore, Sunday, Sept. 11, 2016.

"It felt good seeing all those faces out there that we didn't see at the end of the year last year", Forsett said. It felt good just to get back to that, just to let them know that were not dead.

Baltimore was ravaged by injuries past year as QB Joe Flacco, RB Justin Forsett, LB Terrell Suggs and WR Steve Smith Sr. were lost to season-ending injuries. Following limited action in the preseason, the nine-year veteran looked sharp in going 23 for 34 for 258 yards against the Bills. Flacco is not a huge numbers guy, but he manages the game well and the Ravens have a history of winning with him under center.

"The reality was I probably was going to be leave Baltimore at some point or another". It's the last time the Ravens finished in the top five in both yards and points allowed.

While he may not have the stats to match his overall effort, McCoy did have his share of solid runs for distance or to escape certain tackles for loss. Three of those stops resulted in the Bills losing yards on three different running plays. They think I don't have it, but I've got something for them.

"If you have a safety on me, he's dead every time", Wallace said. "I'm just very happy".

Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor took several jarring hits from the Ravens' aggressive pass rush and was sacked twice. In the receiving end, Nick O'Leary posted 63 yards in six receptiosn while Jarrett Boykin added 29 yards in three receptions.

Taylor left the Ravens as a free agent in the summer of 2015. Safety Eric Weddle coordinated a backfield that limited the Bills to 111 yards passing, and wide receiver Mike Wallace caught a 66-yard touchdown to give Baltimore a 10-0 lead in the second quarter.

"It was a good start", Flacco said. Though the Bills committed ten, the Ravens accepted only eight for a total of 89 yards. Head coach Rex Ryan admitted after the game that he's concerned about Buffalo's ability to keep Taylor healthy. "We have the ability on the outside". "We know they're explosive when they're making guys miss tackles, so that was important today, and I was able to get that done".

Baltimore dismantled every weapon in Buffalo's offensive arsenal, holding the Bills in the second half to just 72 total yards, zero third-down conversions (in six attempts) and zero points. The Ravens and Bills seem like they might be in similar places roster-wise at this stage, so this matchup should be exciting. He rushed three times for minus-4 yards against the Ravens.
