The questions that may be answered during 'Bridgegate' trial

Among two selected were a woman who wrote on her questionnaire that she "doesn't like Chris Christie" and a man told the judge he didn't like videos he'd seen of the often combative governor "jumping down people's throats".

"Not a thing. I've been investigated by everybody for the past three years, including by this network", Christie said, referring to MSNBC. "Better teaching methods, more instruction time and improved educational programs make the difference".

With almost a year left in his term, Christie is arguing that the Supreme Court's rulings in the Abbott v. Burke, which has yielded a series of rulings by the Supreme Court created to improve educational programs for children in our neediest districts and resulting in ever-increasing contributions of taxpayer funds to those districts.

"It would be criminal to allow this situation to continue", said Christie.

A series of rulings in the 30-year-old Abbott v.

Christie is calling for a constitutional amendment that would change the formula to send equal per-pupil aid to every district - a redistribution of spending that would mean deep cuts for a number of urban districts while sending more money to many suburban districts.

Additionally, the legal action seeks to hold state funding for SDA districts at current levels while the legislative and executive branches enact a new system for funding education that is fair and constitutionally sound. Burke that the quality of the education that kids in the state's poorest districts were receiving violated the state constitution's guarantee of a "thorough and efficient system of education" for all New Jersey children.

The Governor announced his move in Ocean County, where he continues to push a plan to provide equal state funding for every student. The governor has spent much of the summer pursuing a new funding formula that would equalize state aid to districts.
