Nick Gordon found responsible for wrongful death of Bobbi Kristina Brown

In light of Gordon's absence, the Fulton County judge said anything alleged by Brown's defense would be "admitted through omission".

Leslie reveals the only thing left to decide is damages against Nick Gordon which the Jury will hear later.

Following the hearing, R. David Ware, an attorney for the Brown family, told reporters, "The court agrees with us, by striking Mr. Gordon's answer that he is legally responsible for her death".

Bobbi Kristina, 22, an aspiring singer, was discovered face down in the bathtub of her north Atlanta home in January 2015 and died about six months later without coming out of a coma.

Here are details provided past year from the lawsuit, which an attorney for Gordon dubbed "slanderous and meritless". The lawsuit was originally seeking $50 million in damages, and a jury will determine the amount that will be awarded to Brown's conservator.

Bobbi Kristina's aunt also spoke out, saying, "It's been a long time". Gordon has denied the allegations and said he tried to save Brown's life.

Nick Gordon, the boyfriend of the late Bobby Kristina Brown, has been found "legally responsible" for her death. Bobbi Kristina's family made it clear that they believed he was to blame, assuring fans on numerous occasions that they were going to get justice for her. "Bobbi Kristina has been dead for how long?" she told Atlanta's NBC affiliate WXIA-TV. "We miss her every single day", the statement continued.

No criminal charges have been brought against Gordon for Brown's death, but an investigation is still reportedly ongoing.

Medical records showed she died as a result of being immersed in water and drug intoxication. Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard was investigating the case, but Howard spokesman Dontaye Carter did not immediately respond to an email seeking comment on the investigation Friday. These included benzoylecgonine, morphine, alcohol, marijuana and benzodiazepines. "I'm angry because I want to see some justice".
