That gave him at least 12 of the 30 delegates at stake, which would bring his total to at least 79 before February ends, according to the Associated Press. In the battle for second place, Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio are separated by about two percent.

Trump told supporters: "If you had listened to the pundits we weren't going to win too much but now we are winning, winning, winning and the country will soon be winning, winning, winning".
