Poch Laughs off Favourites Claim

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino on Tuesday laughed off Leicester City counterpart Claudio Ranieri's claim that his team are the favourites for the Premier League title.

Leicester were two points clear of Spurs going into the 28th round of fixtures, but Ranieri suggested the Foxes are only fourth-favourites to win the title.

Arsenal will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing loss at Man Utd when they take on Swansea City at the Emirates on Wednesday night.

Tottenham's squad seems extremely close knit, with their youngsters forming a strong bond.

Ranieri wants Foxes to grow
Pulis's side have seven points from their last three Premier League games. We've got plenty of teams in and around us in the next few weeks.

Swansea's defence creaked after the break as they were subjected to wave after wave of home attacks. "Everyone is speaking about Leicester but nobody about Tottenham", Ranieri told British media.

"We're in a good place but for us it's always the same, to win the next game".

Pochettino certainly believes this young Tottenham team can achieve big things and insists, with the new stadium to follow, this season should be just the start of an exciting future. "Now we are focused on West Brom, we know we can win, lose or draw but it's not important what the other teams do", the Italian decolared.

Meanwhile, Swansea was nipped by the Spurs, 1-2, at the White Hart Lane also on Sunday for their second straight loss, as per BBC Sport.

Crystal Dunn came on in the 66' for Lloyd and moved up top with Morgan. "It was a team effort but she definitely got us started". Of the 20 players on the Canadian roster in Texas, only captain Christine Sinclair has savoured the taste of beating the U.S.

"This is a step back but we need to keep working. I am very confident Drinky (Danny Drinkwater) and Kingy could be the same, they are doing very well".

But Pochettino said: "We are in a very good position but still 11 games to play". Mauricio Pochettino has built a team of champions from a home-grown core and with a few astute signings, something that is reminiscent of the old days of the Premier League. "You only see me by the pitch or here now, but sometimes I shout too". Now, it's special because our supporters love Tottenham and our players respect that, and we create a big link.

"I am very happy and determined to stay here and do well in the Premier League for Swansea". However, this time around they look like a title-winning force.

"We have to continue to play our football, be intelligent and take the right moment".
