Google I/O's site goes live, registration opens March 8

The I/O 2016 website doesn't yet reveal how events will work between 18 May and 20 May, but Google has announced the main keynote - now called the developer festival - will be held at Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View.

Like in previous years, developers can sign-up for a ticket anytime during the registration period. You will need to sign in with a Google account to begin the application.

Homecoming for 2 spacemen after year aloft: 'We did it!'
He has admitted that if he wanted to, he might like to spend 100 more days, or even a year in space , according to USA Today. That world record of 437 days is still held by cosmonaut Valeri Vladimirovich Polyakov, who achieved it in the mid-90s.

Previous year the developer-focused confab packed 6,000-plus into San Francisco's Moscone Center and included announcements about Android M (i.e., Android 6.0), Android Pay, Google Photos and Google Play, among other things. They are then given the chance to purchase a ticket that costs $900. We'll randomly select applicants from among all of the qualified applications once the window closes on March 10, 2016 and notify those selected via email.

More info at the Google I/O site. We should also see Android N make an appearance. Google will also offer a limited number of $300 academic tickets for full-time students, professors, and faculty at high school or higher institutions. If you can't attend, all the good stuff will be streamed.
