Clinton Returns to Campaign Trail

That came a day after Clinton made public a letter from her physician with similar information.

Clinton will attend a rally in North Carolina and speak at a dinner in Washington after resting at her home in Chappaqua, New York, for three days following a pneumonia diagnosis and falling ill at a September 11 memorial ceremony on Sunday.

The campaign said she was overheated and dehydrated, and revealed she had been diagnosed with pneumonia on Friday.

Meanwhile, Trump delivered an economic speech in NY and is scheduled to go to New Hampshire afterwards. The economy could do much better than at present, he said, without current "excessive regulation" and an overly complex tax system.

The heart of Trump's plan is a revised tax code, which includes a pledge that no business should pay more than 15 percent of its income in taxes, down from the current 35 percent highest corporate tax rate.

During her speech Thursday, Clinton said she spent her time off talking to friends and thinking.

There are just 54 days to go until election day, on November 8.

Amid questions about both candidates' openness regarding their health, Trump released a new letter from his doctor detailing his blood pressure, cholesterol and medications. They also released an additional two-page statement from Clinton's longtime doctor on Wednesday stating that, "she continues to remain healthy and fit to serve as president of the United States". The poll also indicated that Trump's supporters were more passionate than Clinton's supporters.

Ever the showman, Mr Trump appeared on The Dr Oz Show in what was billed by his aides as a discussion about his general wellbeing and his family's medical history. Trump first provided a summary of a recent physical to Dr. Mehmet Oz while taping an episode of Oz's TV show. "They either go to work sick or they lose a paycheck".

Clinton's pneumonia diagnosis came at inopportune time for the former secretary of state, who spent the bulk of August fundraising in wealthy US enclaves such as the Hamptons and Martha's Vineyard, with only intermittent campaign events.

Hillary Clinton says she will put out more medical records "very shortly" and that she's worked hard to be more transparent than her Republican rival Donald Trump.

With two months until Election Day, the race between Clinton and Trump is far tighter than many in both parties expected.

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton gives a thumbs up Thursday in White Plains, New York while traveling to Greensboro, North Carolina.

Clinton, 68, has blood pressure of 100 over 70, and her total cholesterol is 189, according to her doctor.

Clinton later declined to directly answer whether she had immediately told her running mate, Sen. There was no mention of her weight, a key part of any medical exam. - Trump's doctor says the Republican is 6-foot-3 and 236 pounds - giving him a body mass index falling into the "overweight" range.
