Five weeks into the season, Buffalo has decided to dump the no-huddle offense they deliberately built their roster to work in during the off-season, according to Pro Football Talk on NBC Sports.

The Bills management has finally come to the realization that a shotgun style offense doesn’t work if you don’t have players capable of performing in it, and while it won’t matter for head coach Dick Jauron, as he’s already en route to being fired, this season could set the team back several years. Look for Buffalo’s offense to struggle even more after the adjustment, with players scrambling to find their roles in the middle of the season.
