Curly Sue Star Alisan Porter Nails Blind Audition on The Voice

While you might not recognize the 34-year-old singer, you'll probably remember seeing her as the title role in the movie Curly Sue when she was just 10.

Prepare for goosebumps... Curly Sue can sing, and then some.

The former child star is best known for playing the titular tot in the beloved 1991 film, but she has always had a passion for music, and released an album in 2008.

As well as Curly Sue, which saw her sharing the screen with James Belushi, Alisan also appeared in Parenthood, Stella and I Love You To Death during her days as a child actress. First she needed to get sober, which she did eight years ago.

Season 10 of The Voice premieres Monday, February 29 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
