Raiders make entire team open to trade

It’s unlikely to amount to much of anything before Tuesday’s trade deadline, but according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, every player on Oakland’s roster is available for a price, including Pro Bowl cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha.

The Raiders have played this game in the past, hoping to drum up interest in a player they’ve lost interest in, but like usual, they’re unlikely to find much interest around the league, given the enormous contracts that team owner Al Davis has doled out in recent years.

That said, lesser known players like cornerback Chris Johnson and linebacker Thomas Howard could inspire a fair amount of discussion, as they’d provide much needed depth for any team that acquires them.
