Campbell wants out if Redskins take a QB in draft

According to a source close to the situation in Washington, Redskins quarterback Jason Campbell will seek a trade out of town if the team decides to draft another player at his position during this weekend’s draft. It’s not known if that would include a late round pick to provide depth or simply a top level talent capable of challenging Campbell for his starting job.

Washington has made no secret of it’s infatuation with USC quarterback Mark Sanchez, and speculation has been running rampant all week long that the Redskins will do whatever they can to trade up into the top five selections in the draft to ensure themselves an opportunity to select him. If the team does in fact make a move like that, they may have to trade Campbell anyway, just to have enough firepower to pull off the deal.
