Boldin ready to go against the Eagles

After making it through three straight practices without a hitch, Cardinals WR Anquan Boldin has proclaimed himself fit to start in this weekend’s playoff showdown with the visiting Philadelphia Eagles, according to Adam Schefter (NFL.com).

While his counterpart at WR, Larry Fitzgerald, had a monster game last week against Carolina, Boldin is by far the bigger threat in terms of yards after the catch, so having him healthy enough to start is a big plus for the Cardinals offense. Look for Arizona to try to ease him into the game plan early so they can keep him injury free, before turning him loose later in the game.

The Associated Press is reporting that Cardinals WR Anquan Boldin was able to practice today, and plans on playing in this weekend’s showdown with Philadelphia for the right to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl.

Boldin was held out of last week’s game against Carolina after suffering a hamstring injury the week prior during Arizona’s wild card victory over the Atlanta Falcons.
