Games with Gold for May 2016

Microsoft has announced the games that Xbox Live Gold members will be able to download for free next month.

Earlier in the month Federal Communications Commission (FCC) filings made by Microsoft showed that the Redmond-based company is testing a new wireless chip for the Xbox One for FCC approval.

Fans of Xbox One who have been waiting for a games list update might have been happy to note that five more new games have just been added to the gaming consoles backwards compatibility feature.

Even more excuses never to get the Xbox 360 out of the utility closet under the stairs and blow the dust from its little face.

There are blurry images floating around, documents being sifted through and now production notes indicating that a new Xbox One home console unit could be on the way.

The tech giant are following up the release of the Wolf Among Us and Sunset Overdrive on Xbox One - with some less known games.

The games will be available completely free for the dates given in the picture above.

In ShirkerD's leak on Reddit, it was said that Ubisoft's Watch Dogs and Tetris Ultimate are slated for the PS Plus Free Games next month.

Of course those new games will probably not be major releases from Ubisoft, whose last major AC release on the 360 was Assassin's Creed: Rogue. Boasting dozens of levels that players can demolish using an arsenal of destructive power-ups, Peggle will be free to download via Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles between May 16 through the 31st.

The more interesting bit of information in the report is also more vague.

The new design brings consistency to how Xbox games are displayed as small tiles, and also arguably makes it easier to distinguish Xbox games from different generations.
