Conor McGregor's UFC coach, John Kavanagh, had a tweet of his own earlier in the day, seemingly matching his UFC protégé's sentiments.

But after releasing the odds, they cheekily said that the UFC featherweight champion is welcome to work for them and could live-tweet UFC 200.

"We pulled Conor McGregor from UFC 200 and we're working on other fights right now", White said via ESPN.

According to McGregor's social media accounts, the fighter, known as "The Notorious", is now training in Iceland.

UFC champion Conor McGregor has floored fans by announcing he's "retiring".

On Wednesday McGregor made the shock announcement on his Twitter with little explanation behind his shock retirement.

McGregor is in Iceland to train for UFC 200 where he is scheduled to fight Nate Diaz in the main event.

White confirmed that these promotional responsibilities are mandatory, leading the UFC with no other choice than to pull the Irishman from the card.

McGregor is among UFC's most-colorful fighters, known throughout the world for his numerous tattoos and trash-talking style.

Today, however, McGregor abruptly tweeted, "I have chose to retire young".
