Barron on the block? Rams going low on trade return

According to Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post- Dispatch, the Rams are looking for possible trade partners in an effort to move offensive tackle Alex Barron elsewhere this off-season. Barron was given a first round tender by the club, but St. Louis is not expected to request that high of a pick in return, opening the door to a deal with a team in need of offensive line depth.

Given all of the needs that the Rams have heading into this year’s draft, adding a draft pick or two at the expense of losing Barron to another team may be a solid move for the club, especially if they’re able to extract a second round pick for his services, as is expected.

Teams that are likely to be interested include Buffalo, Washington, Seattle, and Oakland.
