Saying goodbye to Joey Galloway may have been bit premature for the Patriots after all.

The Boston Herald is reporting that rookie receiver Julian Edelman has apparantly broken his arm, and will likely miss the remainder of the season as a result, although head coach Bill Belichick stated he didn’t feel that New England would be missing any of their offensive players for long.

Edelman is coming off his best game thus far as a pro, catching six passes for 43 yards in last Sunday’s 59-0 annihilation of the Titans in Foxborough. The Patriots will likely announce a replacement for him later on this week.
