NFL.com’s Jason LaCanfora is reporting that the Chiefs are not as impressed with DE/DT Glenn Dorsey as many would believe, and are quietly looking to trade the former top five pick before next week’s deadline.

This rumor runs counter to what we’ve been hearing all season long, as Dorsey has turned in several quality performances and seems to have turned the corner in his second year with the Chiefs, but LaCanfora is certainly in a position to be in the know so to speak. Obviously, the Chiefs would expect a hefty ransom from any team looking to acquire Dorsey, given the high draft pick KC used to select him in 2008, which makes any trade prospects involving him unlikely at this point in our opinion.
