Bills moving on up for Andre Smith?
Adam Caplan (Scout.com) is reporting that the Buffalo Bills are currently exploring the possibility of trading up in round one to land offensive tackle Andre Smith (H/T to PFT). The Bills recently traded their Pro Bowl OT Jason Peters to the Eagles, so they have the firepower needed to make that kind of move.
Smith was the most decorated and dominant tackle last season at Alabama, but a series of questionable decisions has dropped his stock somewhat this off-season. The Bills would likely have to get ahead of Cincinnati (#6 overall) to select Smith, as the Bengals are very keen on taking him as well.
