Done deal – Kokinis on his way to Cleveland
The Associated Press is reporting that the Cleveland Browns have finalized a deal with George Kokinis (Ravens) to become their new general manager.
This move became almost inevitable once the Browns chose to hire Eric Mangini as their new head coach, as the two are close friends and should form a solid partnership in Cleveland. The agreement with Kokinis was delayed in part because of the Ravens’ run through the playoffs, which ended last week in the AFC Championship, after Baltimore fell to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
