UFC boss: Conor McGregor could vacate featherweight title with UFC 196 victory

"I'm hoping Nate Diaz makes this a fight".

Reigning Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) featherweight champion Conor McGregor might be one of the most confident fighters to compete inside the Octagon and that was again in full display during an interview last Tuesday. He tried to force himself on Diaz since the inception of this fight and the veteran from Stockton, California, has generally had one response: let's fight.

White said at this point the discussion of McGregor dropping his UFC belt is purely hypothetical.

McConnell: Senate Will 'Withhold Consent' For Obama's SCOTUS Nominee
In another defection among Republicans, Senator Susan Collins of ME called for hearings on the eventual nominee. He said while he hopes Obama picks a "centrist" nominee, "I'm not a one-issue person".

If you've been keeping up with the UFC this week you'll know it's all been about Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz. Now we have Nate Diaz who is the only fighter to stand up against "The Notorious" on the same level as they play nonstop mental warfare against each other with their words.

During Thursday's UFC 196 pre-fight press conference, UFC president Dana White said it is possible a victorious McGregor could challenge Lawler for his crown in his next outing.

And though the fighters had only two weeks to promote their bout, the two gifted trash-talkers have already developed a heated dialogue.

SCOTUS justices appear 'sharply and perhaps evenly divided' in abortion case
The eight remaining justices heard arguments in a major case Wednesday - and it appears they might not get a majority decision. What is not modest was the argument several Justices and President Obama's Justice Department made against the regulations.

Diaz may not have been quite as mouthy (could anyone possibly match McGregor?), but he said plenty in December, after winning a unanimous decision against Michael Johnson.

"I feel he's repetitive". Diaz isn't expected to win by most experts, but the odds are so much in McGregor's favor that the betting public is backing the underdog. "There's no adjustment. I'm just going to be who I am".

"I'm just looking at your little frame and it just reminds me of an injured gazelle, strapped up", explained McGregor.

Two Zika cases confirmed in Colorado
Most of the cases were identified in the southern Mexican states of Chiapas and Oaxaca, according to a health ministry report. The mosquitoes are active in areas such as Brazil, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central and South America and the Pacific Islands.

To really show that he's fully committed to the act, he even went so far as to strike the Conor pose during the stare down.
