Jurgen Klopp says six-point gap to top four 'not the world'

Klopp has said that midfielder Lucas Leiva suffered an injury to his quad muscle in last weekend's League Cup final and is likely to be sidelined for five to six weeks, leaving the Reds' boss surprised as he said he never heard of such an injury after taking a penalty. "I don't think about who can win the league... at the moment, there are a few teams, I only think about how we can win tomorrow". After the shot (in the penalty shootout at Wembley), he'll be out for five to six weeks, ' Klopp revealed in his press conference.
It has been a frustrating time in charge for Jurgen Klopp, who has seen his side struggle for consistency during his year in the Premier League.
"Our starting position isn't a masterclass but we are still in a good enough position to achieve something".
Claudio Ranieri: Leicester players must embrace added pressure
They play through the pitch quickly, they get the balls wide and they get bodies in the box. We were a little unlucky, but I am more confident than after the game against Norwich.
Lucas, Liverpool's best player at Wembley as he switched to centre-back, injured himself as he took a penalty in the shoot-out although his manager said he had already been carrying a problem. We have to show it, consistency has not been our hobby until now. "Now we have to use this new quality change to rest, go, in two very exciting, very important, outstanding tournaments".
"I didn't forget the first game when we lost it (Palace inflicted Klopp's first defeat as Liverpool manager in November): we have to take points back".
"I love this", replied Klopp, per Murtagh.

The Reds moved to within six points of fourth-placed Manchester City thanks to their 3-0 victory over Manuel Pellegrini's side at Anfield on Wednesday night. There are a lot of points to get and we should try and get as many as we can. We have to take what we can get, and that's how we should do it. Tonight I told the lads that we have to be angry in a positive football way. It was an extremely lively game with no thinking about 'How long can I run?' "We have to do it again, and if we can do this then we will have more points at the end of the season than now".
"They've got some big games but Jurgen Klopp will be demanding [more]".
