Five dead in Route 222 crash; officials to release more information today

The accident happened at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday on Route 222 southbound near Route 100 in Upper Macungie Township, Pennsylvania.

The Lehigh County coroner's office confirmed that it had responded to the crash but had no immediate information about fatalities.
