Akmal hits 48 as Pakistan beats Sri Lanka

Tillakaratne Dilshan (75) and Dinesh Chandimal (58) smashed half-centuries as Sri Lanka set Pakistan 151 to win in the last match of Asia Cup on Friday.

His opening partner and Sri Lanka's skipper for the day Dinesh Chandimal also made a half-century scoring a 49-ball 58 with 7 fours and a six.

Earlier put in to bat, Sri Lanka got off to a flying start with openers Dilshan and Chandimal using their experience to counter the Pakistani bowlers and help the team cross the 100-run mark without losing a wicket inside 14th over.

The first wicket brought back fortunes back for Pakistan as some tight and good bowling saw Shehan Jayasuriya (4), Chamara Kapugedera (2) and Dasun Shanaka (0) going back to pavilion in space of two overs. Dilshan cracked 10 boundaries and one over boundary during his 56-ball stay on the crease.
