Dancing 106-year-old woman thrilled to meet Barack, Michelle Obama

At the grand age of 106, Virginia McLaurin has fulfilled her dream of meeting President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle.

"Hi", she said. "It's an honor".

During his last meeting with the state's Governor's, Obama addressed concerns states may have regarding national and state issues including environmental regulations.

"Oh my goodness, I want to be like you when I grow up", Michelle Obama told McLaurin as they met.

The daughter of a sharecropper, McLaurin was already married at 14 and had two children with her first husband. The video begins with her already getting ready to meet the president.

At his own press conference in New Jersey on Thursday, Christie issued a lengthy rebuttal to his critics. He was answering questions from the national press corps, and I was listening.

In response, the radiant 106-year-old keeps be-bopping.

'I don't know, ' McLaurin said.

After the visit, it was clear the first couple was taken with McLaurin's charm.

But McLaurin isn't just anybody.

McLaurin was born in 1909 in SC and moved to Washington, D.C., in 1941, according to a community Facebook page set up for her.

At the time of receiving her award, she said that she had one wish, and that was to meet President Obama.

"Well you made my day", McLaurin responded.

It's safe to say a lot of Americans would react very differently should they ever meet President Barack Obama or his wife, Michelle. In fact, there was a December 2014 petition that clamored for the President to meet with the centennarian.

"I thought I would never live to get in the White House", admitted the charismatic woman.

On "NBC Nightly News", anchor Kate Snow played video posted on Facebook of a 4-year-old black girl crying and distraught that Obama's time in office will soon be up.
