US skier Vonn crashes in delayed women's World Cup Super-G

Lindsey Vonn has been evacuated on a ski-stretcher after injuring her left knee in a fall during the World Cup Super-G at Soldeu in Andorra. She was brought down the mountain on a rescue sled and underwent tests in a hospital. Her injuries are being evaluated, according to the U.S. Ski Team.
The team's spokeswoman, Megan Harrod, confirmed to The Associated Press that Vonn hurt her knee, adding she had no more details yet.
This isn't the first time that Vonn has suffered a devastating crash, as she has wiped out before and suffered injuries that have taken her out of action.
40 years to life
Chism was convicted as an adult in December of killing Ms Ritzer at the suburban Boston high school following a tutoring session. The mother of Philip Chism also spoke at the sentencing, making a point to show that she understands the pain her son caused.
With Vonn crashing out, her overall standings rival Lara Gut - next down the hill - finished 16th, taking 15 points and closing the gap at the top of the leaderboard to eight.
You can't assume the worst without knowing more than we do at this moment, but hearing that Vonn is enduring another setback is hard to take.

Acknowledging that the conditions worsened for later starters, Brignone said: "This is skiing". I took advantage of my luck.
Vonn was later published on the start list for a super combined Sunday in Andorra, but that doesn't mean she will race.
