Does David Bowie's Son Have a Problem with Lady Gaga's Tribute Performance?

Lady Gaga worked her way through a sample of David Bowie's seminal songs as she performed a tribute to the late and great British rock star at the Grammys.

After the singer's performance, the filmmaker posted a definition of the word "gaga" from the Oxford English Dictionary.

She sang Space Oddity, Changes, Ziggy Stardust, Suffragette City, Rebel Rebel, Fashion, Fame, Let's Dance and Heroes.

Backing her up was Nile Rodgers, who also got his share of the spotlight when Gaga was projected onto a huge screen for a rendition of "Rebel Rebel".

"What I'm trying to say is there's people that love David Bowie, and then there's David Bowie fans, and there's Bowie kids, who live like him", she added.

Bowie passed away last month following a long-term battle with cancer.

Days before the performance, she said in an interview with The Associated Press that performing in his honor was a bittersweet way to say goodbye to one of her inspirations.

While she hasn't responded to Jones, Gaga can't be too pleased with his response as she said in the run-up to the show that Bowie was one her idols growing up.
