Sat @ 1:07 pm – Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer is reporting (via Twitter) that McCoy’s deal is valued at $63.5 million, with $35 million guaranteed.
10:39 am – As we mentioned earlier this morning in our post updating all of the latest first round signings, things are really starting to pick up when it comes to draft picks and their contracts.
The latest of those players to find common ground with their team is Buccaneers defensive tackle Gerald McCoy, who has agreed to a five year deal, according to Rick Stroud of the St. Petersburg Times (via Twitter).
Terms have not been released as of yet, but they should fall right in line with the rest of the top five selections, somewhere in between #1 overall pick Sam Bradford’s record deal (six years, $80 million) and Redskins rookie offensive tackle Trent Williams, who got a deal for six years and $60 million).
