According to NFL.com, the Giants have been doing their best as of late to smooth over a few rough spots in their relationship with WR Dominik Hixon, after he had reportedly been discussed as a probably trade piece in a deal to bring Cleveland Browns WR Braylon Edwards to New York.

The Browns would likely need to receive at least one receiver back in any deal that moves Edwards out of town, as their offense has already taken a major hit after they traded away TE Kellen Winslow, Jr. earlier this off-season to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
