According to ESPN Insider, Arizona WR Anquan Boldin is making a major attempt to get out of the desert this off-season, and has instructed his agent, Drew Rosenhaus (of Terrell Owens fame), to not accept any contract extension proposal passed along by the Cardinals. In reporting this bit of news, ESPN cited a report by Darren Urban, who is a contributor for Arizona’s official team blog.

Boldin did his best to separate himself from that article during a sideline interview in last Sunday’s Pro Bowl game, claiming he was open to negotiation with the Cardinals front office, but given his repeated attempts over the past few off-seasons to obtain a new contract, it’s more than likely that he is ready to play hardball with the team if need be.

Boldin could definitely be of interest to multiple teams this off-season, with both New York teams, Kansas City, Tennessee, and possibly Baltimore taking a look at obtaining him if the price is right.
