Over the past few years, the folks over at Yardbarker have worked hard to provide you unparalleled coverage of the news, rumors, and analysis in the sports world, and we’ve been proud to be a partner of theirs in that effort.
In an attempt to ensure they’re capable of bringing fans even better content in the future, YB is currently asking for readers at all their member sites, of which NFLNR is one, to take a short survey. In return, they’re offering a great chance to win a $100 American Express gift card.
We’d love it if everyone could drop in for a bit and fill out the questions, as it not only makes us look good here at NFLNR, but it also helps us and Yardbarker to keep the awesome features they have for our fans flowing.

I’m pretty much speechless right now… thanks to all of our awesome readers out there, we’ve smashed our one day record for hits. We’re about an hour out from the close of business (central standard time), and NFLNR is currently sitting on 8,526 unique hits for today, easily making this our top mark for visits.
I really can’t thank you enough for dropping in and checking out the site. NFLNR was started just over a year ago with extremely humble expectations, and since then it’s surpassed all of my wildest dreams. I couldn’t do it with the readers and for that I’m supremely grateful.
Thanks as well to the staff here at NFLNR who are constantly churning out post after post after post… you guys are great and without your help as of late, we would never have seen these numbers hit the site. Keep up the good work…

First off, I’d like to wish everyone a happy New Year. I still have a hard time thinking it’s 2010, but the new decade is here and NFLNR is ready to take our efforts to a whole new level this year.
For those of you that have been around since the beginning, NFLNR was started one year ago today after I got bored while watching some college football, and decided to start writing about the NFL and all the stories that surround it each and every day. The site has had a few bumps in the road over the past year, but overall, the success we’ve experience here has been completely unexpected and amazing to say the least.
In my wildest dreams, I never thought the site would get anywhere close to the traffic numbers it saw last year, with over 176,000 unique visitors hitting NFLNR. I cannot begin to thank you, the reader, for all of your help in that, as we certainly could not have accomplished what we did last year, if you didn’t come by and take a look at the content we posted.
So with all that said, thank you so very much for making NFLNR into the superb site it is today. We are here to stay and we will be pushing harder and faster this year to bring you even more coverage of all the news and rumors you need.

All of us here at NFLNR would like to wish you a happy and safe Christmas this year… we couldn’t do this without you, our loyal readers, and while we’re on a break right now, enjoying the holiday season with our friends and families, we’ll be back very soon to bring you all of the latest news and rumors you crave.
Until then, enjoy the snow falling on the site… here in Minnesota we have plenty of it outside, so sharing it seemed like the best thing to do today!
Thanks again and happy holidays… cheers
The NFLNR staff – Chris, Kris, and Phil
NFLNR is always looking for new and innovative ways to bring you the latest news from around the NFL, and while we recognize that getting your daily rumors fix from the site itself is a great option, there are many folks out there that just don’t have the time to drop in every day.
So we’ve come up with a great way for everyone to stay up to date… a newsletter delivered straight to your email inbox each week from NFLNR, with a recap of all the stories we’ve covered over the week, and what to look for in the future.
The registration process is as easy and pain free as possible, and we guarantee that your information will stay right here with us and not end up being used by someone else.
Hopefully, this will give everyone a chance to catch up on the latest news from the league and their favorite team. If this sounds like a great idea to you, be sure to sign up today!
For those of you out there who are like me and blog in your spare time, you know just how hard it is to keep posting day after day, week after week, especially when life throws a few curveballs your way and you have to adjust accordingly. Most of the time, that adjustment does not include my blogging life, but in this instance it has, and for that I apologize.
The past few months have been trying for myself and my family, with several different issues causing me to be absent from my writing, but I can safely say that those days are past and I expect to be able to post regularly from here on out with little interruption.
Once again, my apologies for those faithful fans that have dropped by looking for the latest scoop, only to find things a bit dated. With your help, I promise we’ll have things back up and running in no time flat. In fact, we should have our very first mock of the year ready to go by this weekend, along with all the latest news and rumors that you love to hear.
Cheers,

It’s been a long two months away from things here at NFLNR, but I’ve decided to do my best to get back into the swing of things from here on out. The summer is always the busiest time of the year for me, and this year has proven to be no exception, as I’ve been completely locked out of any time to write at the level I want.
That being said, I’ll be jumping back in with both feet, so hopefully we can get this site back up and running in no time at all.
Thanks for all the support and I’m looking forward to another outstanding season of NFL coverage here at NFLNR.com!

NFL News & Rumors is looking for writers that want to develop their craft and blog about all the latest news hitting the wire. Over the past three months, we’ve experienced tremendous growth, averaging just under 3,000 unique visitors per day, so we’re in need of a few fresh voices to hit the ground running.
Here’s what we’d like to see in our new writers:
1. An ardent observer, who’s willing to put in the effort it takes to craft solid pieces that convey the news in a fan friendly format. No hype and no bull. Just straight news backed up by first hand sources.
2. A die hard fan of the game that loves football and wants to speak their mind on the topic.
