Murray trade cost Titans new deal, swap of 4th-round picks

The Philadelphia Eagles have agreed to send star running back DeMarco Murray to the Tennessee Titans.

The NFL Network, citing sources, reported that the Eagles were "deep in talks" to trade cornerback Byron Maxwell to the Miami Dolphins. The Eagles are clearly trying to move on from Chip Kelly's moves, which is why they were willing to give Murray away practically free to a team that would take his salary.

Trump Reacts to Protests, Violence That Forced Postponement of Chicago Rally
Some Trump supporters walking into the area chanted, "USA!" Some protesters were being detained and forcefully carried out. The protesters, some of them affiliated with the Black Lives Matter movement, have become more and more numerous.

Despite a massive drop-off in production following a league-leading 1,845 yards and 13 touchdowns with the Dallas Cowboys in 2014, Murray still managed to lead the Eagles in rushing with 702 yards.

The Titans and Murray have to hope that last year's drop was more about the system and the fit in Philadelphia than it was about Murray starting to decline.

The transaction cannot be officially finalized until Wednesday, when the new NFL league year gets underway.
