Late pass gives Keselowski a win at Las Vegas

Brad Keselowski tracked down Kyle Busch with five laps remaining on Sunday (Monday in Manila) and won the Kobalt 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Busch scored a Cup victory at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in 2009, but was 0-for-11 in his previous starts in NASCAR's second tier series.

"That's just kind of how racing goes sometimes", said Keselowski. But on Sunday, he produced, even overcoming a pit road speeding penalty that dropped him well down the running order.

"They threw everything they had at us today but this Miller Lite Ford team was too strong, and we were able to fight them off and get to Victory Lane", he added. The JGR drivers went 1-2-3 in a sweep of the podium as Daniel Suarez finished second and Erik Jones came from two laps down to finish third. "Congratulations to Brad and also for Team Penske getting a 1-2 finish".

"It talks about the whole team and how strong we are, how we continue to push", Keselowski crew chief Paul Wolfe said.

"I don't think it really took a toll on him".
