Multiple sources are reporting the Brock Osweiler has agreed to a contract with the Houston Texans for four years and $72 million.

Osweiler went 5-2 as a starter during the season while Peyton Manning was recovering from a foot injury. That's an average of $18 million per year, placing him in the top-third of National Football League quarterback salaries. But sometimes, even within the same quarter let alone same game, he would revert to the inexperienced passer he was.

He threw for a career-high 1,967 yards and 10 touchdowns with six interceptions last season.

Journeyman NFL backup quarterback Matt Flynn, a free agent again, tweeted: "Wow".
