Oscars 2016: Five things the Academy Award got wrong

The 88th Annual Academy Awards, hosted by Chris Rock, was where many stars gathered on Sunday. I knew it! I predicted a major upset in this category and the Academy delivered per usual. Roundly acclaimed for its old-school craft, Miller's "Mad Max" was assured of becoming the evening's most awarded film.

The top searches for Oscars 2016 from India included best picture, best actor, best actress and best director, Google said.

"Mad Max: Fury Road" picked up six Oscars - the most of any film nominated this year.

Meanwhile Fury Road also missed out on the Best Picture Oscar, which went to Spotlight in something of a boil over.

Ennio Morricone, the legendary composer of such film scores as "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" and "The Untouchables", finally won an Oscar - his first in six nominations.

Upon winning the Oscar for best animated film, Pete Docter, director of "Inside Out", reminded teens that life can get hard. You realize if they nominated hosts, I wouldn't even get this job.
