Oscars 2016: What to Expect From the Awards Show
Among the sure bets, popular Leonardo DiCaprio is seen as certain to win his first ever Oscar for his role as an 1820s fur trapper bent on revenge in "The Revenant". A widely-anticipated best supporting actor Oscar for Sylvester Stallone, who reprises his turn as underdog boxer Rocky Balboa in Creed, would be one of the stories of the night, nearly four decades after his only other nominations - for best actor and screenplay for the franchise's original outing, Rocky. The ceremony will be broadcast on ABC, beginning at 5:30 p.m. PST.
But it is being boycotted by some Hollywood figures who are protesting about the lack of ethnic diversity among this year's nominees.
However, Hidden Remote wanted to highlight certain aspects of the nominees in the acting categories this year.
Spieth ends West Coast swing with a missed cut
