Browns to look at Jarvis Green

A week removed from being released in Denver, free agent defensive end Jarvis Green is expected to be in Cleveland tomorrow to workout with the Browns, who have a need for depth along their defensive front.

Mike Reiss of ESPNBoston.com first reported the scheduled meeting between Cleveland and Green.

Given the way he played throughout the pre-season for the Broncos, it’s doubtful that the Browns will offer much in the way of guarantees to Green, and will likely bring him on on a short term basis for the time being if they do decide to sign him.

Green is well versed in running the 3-4 scheme currently employed by Cleveland, having spent his entire career prior to this season in New England.
