The first casualty of the NFL Draft is here, and his name is John Henderson.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Jaguars will officially release the veteran defensive tackle later on today, making room for their two draft acquisitions at the position, Tyson Alualu and D’Anthony Smith.

Henderson is a two time Pro Bowler and has been one of Jacksonville’s top performers along their defensive line since he was selected #9 overall by the Jaguars in the 2002 draft. He had 32 tackles and two forced fumbles last season.
